Spring Summer 2027
For Spring Summer 2027, Victoria Beckham explores liberation through movement — drawing on the radical new languages of dance that emerged in the 1920s.
Rejecting the restrictions of classical ballet, a generation of forward-thinking dancers embraced a freer relationship with the body, often blurring the boundaries between choreography, painting and other forms of artistic expression.
That spirit informs a collection where complex construction feels effortless in practice. Long, lean silhouettes move freely around the body, while asymmetric lines, cut-outs and bow constructions reveal and release the form.
Sheer georgette dresses are weighted with beaded wave hems, while hand-painted flowers and kissing birds recall the dialogue between painting and movement. Extracts from the richly coloured backgrounds of 1920s portraiture appear across fluid crêpe dresses and knitwear, translating the gesture of the artist into clothes designed to move.
Clothing becomes a form of freedom — expressive, instinctive and entirely at ease
